Description
Spinning your own yarn is relaxing, creative, soothing—¬in other words, magic! In this class, you will learn to spin yarn using a drop spindle, the very same tool that has been used to spin yarn for thousands of years. Although most spinners use a spinning wheel, there are many very proficient spinners who prefer the spindle and use it almost exclusively. If you do want to continue on and spin at a wheel—and you will—being comfortable with a drop spindle makes the transition much easier.
