Fall in love with brioche family of stitches. This unique knitting technique produces beautiful, cozy, irresistible, 3-dimentional and reversible fabric. In this class, you will learn how to do basic brioche in one and two colors. The topics covered in this class are: steps for a successful brioche knitting, selvage edges, special tips on cast on and bind off with brioche, best yarns to use, reading a chart and written instructions. You will see swatches and samples made in some other simple brioche stitches. You will leave this class knowing how to do a basic brioche and being inspired to learn more of brioche stitch patterns.

Supplies Students Must Bring

Students should bring two skeins (contrasting colors A and B) of worsted-weight, solid-colored yarn. Two circular needles in preferred size for worsted-weight yarn. (Third needle or stitch holder, if you are making extra cast on)
