Description
Intarsia is a skill that knitters love to have in their knitting bag of tricks. Being able to draw a picture into your fabric is a magical skill to have. Learn the basics for working intarsia, cleaning up the color changes, how to know where to begin your colorwork, and how to read a color chart.

Students must be very comfortable with knitting and purling and made multiple types of projects. This is an advanced beginner technique.

Supplies Students Must Bring
Students should bring smooth worsted weight yarn in 3 contrasting colors. At least 30 yards of each will be plenty. 16-inch circular needle or straight needles that match with your yarn. Yarn suggested is Cascade 220 Superwash (Link: https://shrsl.com/450zz). Needle suggested for this yarn is a size 6 or size 7. Scissors, pencil, paper for notes, sewing/tapestry needle, and locking stitch markers.
