Description

These decorative treatments are found on cuffs (Swedish Sail Hat) and garments in Norway and Sweden. The class begins with a multicolor cast-on and variations, including Long-Tail and German Twisted Cast-Ons, and Traditional Twine-Knit Cast-On with multiple strands. We’ll make braids and colorful textures with twine knit and purl rounds using several colored yarns. Learn tips for yarn management for colorwork and center-pull ball-winding techniques. Samples are worked in the round on two circular needles or double-pointed needles. Additional class samples of variations will be reviewed.
