Description
Take your metal clay skills up a notch with this artistic hinged pendant. You’ll learn how to create a multi-layered, multi-textured pendant, and construct a working hinge that will hold the two sections together. You’ll have the option to set a cubic zirconia and fire it in place as well as adding color to your finished pendant.

Prerequisites
Students prior experience in working with metal clay is recommended, but not required.

Required Kit Contents:
Kit includes fine silver metal clay, silver wire, cubic zirconia, written tutorial, and use of shared tools and consumables during class.
Supplies Students Must Bring
Apron, basic metal clay tool kit which includes: Roller, nonstick work surface, needle tool or awl, playing cards or depth measuring slats, glazed ceramic tile, craft knife, water mister, release agent (Cool Slip, olive oil), sanding papers. If you cannot bring the tools above, the instructor can lend you a tool kit to use during class. Optional: Task lamp and magnifying glasses or reading glasses if necessary.
