Welcome to the wonderful world of Intuitive Collage. Create in a space of non-judgement, pure playfulness and curiosity where form, color, pattern, mark and meaning merge into one joy{full} workshop—where you are free to be authentically you and discover new aspects of self. In this workshop, we’ll explore a theme of Love. The symbol of love is, of course, the heart, so we’ll take this mark and play with it—elongating it, widening it, miniaturizing it, breaking it and re-conceptualizing it into something beyond our normal expectations. We’ll also play with making other marks using lovely translucent papers and India Ink, as well as making marks on “found” papers such as old text and vintage papers. Lastly, we’ll explore and combine patterned papers, various color combinations and washi tape to create original works of collage. Participants will finish with at least one completed collage and various collage fodder for continuing the learnings and fun at home.
