Description

      

Create this sparkly bracelet with no soldering and only cold wire techniques. Students will learn how to capture faceted stones using square and half round wire. Correctly lining up the square wires and how to maintain fluidity as you set the stones will be covered. There will be examples available of other jewelry using this same technique.

Students should have experience working with square and half round wires.

Required Kit Contents:
Required kit includes color step by step handout, copper wire in 2 gauges, and jump rings. Stones are not included, but can be purchased separately. *Upgrade to silver available in class for $48.00.
Supplies Students Must Bring

Students must bring flush wire cutters, pliers (chain and flat nose), nylon jaw wire straightening pliers, ruler, permanent marker, blue painter's tape (1/2" to 1" wide), work mat, magnification (as needed), and task light (as needed). Stones: 6mm round faceted stones, 12 for small bracelet, 14 for medium bracelet, 16 for large bracelet, 18 for x-large bracelet. *See optional kit details.
