Copper Clay can be so much FUN to play with, which is why this is called a "play shop" instead of a workshop! ;) You will learn the unique characteristics of working with copper, what is required for firing, and about finishing. In addition, learn how to add a pop of color to your pieces. Because of the low price point of copper clay, you will be able to complete several pieces of jewelry. These pieces will be kilned fired for pick up at a later time. If need instructor will ship the finished piece to you at no additional charge.
Students must bring roller, non-stick work surface, needle tool or awl, playing cards or depth measuring slats, xacto knife, water mister, release agent (cool slip, olive oil). Optional: apron, glasses/magnifiers, and a battery-operated task light.
