You will learn how to texture, form and manipulate the clay around a stunning dichroic glass cabochon; create a bail, embellish, and precision set stones; incorporate glass into metal and the proper ways to fire. Students must bring roller, non-stick work surface, needle tool or awl, playing cards or depth measuring slats, xacto knife, water mister, release agent (cool slip, olive oil). Optional: apron, glasses/magnifiers, and a battery-operated task light.
