Stack em up! This exciting workshop will introduce you to texturing and soldering metal to make up to 3 bangles. Learn how to measure for your wrist size, texture with hammers and design stamps, anneal, form and solder various gauges of wire in copper and sterling silver. Play with the rolling mill, and embellishments and use your creativity to craft an interesting set of bracelets and charms. There will be demonstrations on bangle dies and how to create various connections like jump rings and tubes. Students will also have the option to add patina before polishing.

Prerequisites
Students should have some metalwork experience.
Required Kit Cost:
$85.00 payable to the instructor.
Required Kit Contents:
Required kit includes 12 gauge ss for 2 bangles, 10 gauge copper wire for one bangle, fine silver wire, 24 gauge copper and ss sheet, 20 gauge ss wire, saw blades, polishing papers, texture papers, solder, and consumables.
Supplies Students Must Bring

Students must bring wire cutters, pliers (1/2 round, flat, and chain nose), bench block, bench pin, bracelet mandrel (optional), cut lube, ruler, chasing hammer, rawhide mallet, design stamps, jewelers saw, #2 file, fine tip sharpie, eye protection, and personal lighting as needed. Instructor will have tools to share.
