Up your soldering skills in this jam-packed bezel setting class. Design a pendant around a stone of your choice. Learn how to properly size bezel wire, saw and texture a backplate, add design elements like twisted or bead wire and granulation or a sweet little flower. Then create a bail to fit the style of your piece. You will be shown three options. This is fantastic class for beginners and more seasoned metalsmiths wanting to learn stone setting and take their designs to the next level.
Students must bring bench pin, wire cutters, jewelers saw, pliers (1/2 round, flat, chain, and round nose), ruler, fine tip sharpie, ring mandrel, rawhide or plastic mallet, chasing hammer, #2 file, bezel pusher/roller, and sand paper. Instructor will have tools to share.
