In this class you will expand your knowledge of Mitered squares by knitting from a chart and adding lace, texture and/or color to your project. Adding color can be a great stash buster. We will discuss re-sizing squares, different ways of picking up stitches and either stacking the squares into a larger unit or turning the square on point and using it as a diamond shape. Multiple ways to use mitered squares will be shown.
At least 2 colors of worsted weight yarn, about 20 yards each. Knitting needles in US size 7 or 8. I like to use 8-inch double pointed needles due the the short length of the rows, but straight or circular needles will also work. Locking stitch marker, scissors, highlighter tape (or other method of tracking progress on a chart), note taking materials if desired.
