In this class you will create a filigree wire-woven pendant that can be worn in two different ways. Students will learn how to draw beads at the wire ends, how to manipulate the wire to achieve smooth curves and the basic wire weave to join the wires together and complete the pendant. We will also do some wire forging, sanding and polishing. For a bold style, you can make two mirror image pendants and turn these into earrings. Some soldering is required, but the instructor will bring several pre-soldered frames for those who do not wish to use a torch.

Side flush wire cutters, chain nose pliers, flat nose pliers, wire straightening pliers, ruler, permanent marker, blue painter’s masking tape, personal task light and magnification (if needed).
