Description

These fun and elegant earrings are crafted mostly using wire weaving techniques with a little bit of soldering. Students will learn to make wire prongs to securely hold the stone, then to shape and weave the wires above to create the wavy stem. Earrings can be adjusted to be different lengths to match individual styles. Instructor will bring some pre-soldered frames for those not wanting to use a torch.

Prerequisites
Students should have the ability to work in small detail. Some wire weaving experience will be helpful.
Required Kit Cost:
$33.00 payable to the instructor.
Required Kit Contents:
Step by Step color handout, copper wire in 2 gauges, choice of a pair of cabochons, ear wires, use of soldering tools and consumables. Upgrade to silver available in class at an additional cost to be determined.
Supplies Students Must Bring

Side flush wire cutters, flat nose pliers, wire straightening plier, straight ruler, permanent marker, blue painter’s masking tape, work mat, personal task light and magnification (if needed).
