Patrice is a maker, instructor and lover of metal clay. A metalsmith for 30 years, she was delighted to discover metal clay 15 years ago. From her studio in Fergus, Ontario, Canada, she teaches a wide variety of maker classes. She is also a third year instructor in the gold-smithing program at Georgian College, Barrie Ontario where she has taught Metal Clay, Etching and Jewellery Making with Non-traditional materials. She has also taught at Bead and Button, The Nature Printer's Conference and is a repeat guest instructor at numerous studios across North America. Patrice only sells her work in person at art shows throughout Ontario, where her work has been recognized with two best in show awards. She was also awarded The Elora Centre for the Arts Award at Insights Art Show.
